Set up at the beginning of Black History Month, The Audio Affect Series is a music incubation program geared towards Black musicians and artists in South Los Angeles.

Alongside Tec Leimert and the UNDEAFTED Foundation, Serato organised four music production workshops that featured acclaimed L.A. based producers as guest mentors. 

Up’n’coming music producers are asked to apply to get a spot and are invited to submit original music that they tweak during the session that then went on to be included in a compilation release in 2023.

The Audio Affect Series continues to amplify Black creators all year round.
